Fall Fertilizing
Fall is the time to fertilize your trees and shrubs. SCN recommends ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Food. This fertilizer has well-balanced nutrients and higher nitrogen levels that provide the support these large growers need. By applying just one pound of fertilizer for every inch of trunk diameter you can greatly increase the health and vigor of trees and shrubs.
For new fall plantings we recommend ferti-lome Start-n-Grow. It’s safe to use around new or established plants. The nitrogen slowly releases all winter long. Start-n-Grow is also the best fertilizer to use on any tree or shrub showing stress
